Well, I have both a benefit (welfare) appeal court tribunal and a meeting with social services about getting some support both coming up soon. If those go well, I'm hoping it'll be a much more positive year than most of the last thirty or so. Even if they both come to nothing, I'll be glad to have got all of the red tape and interrogations behind me at last after two years of them eating into my energy. Either way, it feels like time to move on from the couple of years break I've taken from everything else while the effects of being diagnosed have been sinking in.

I want to write a novel - it's going to be a Y/A thriller on bodyswapping. Something between The Change from The Fear Street series about Nicole and Lucy who swap bodies - or at least mentally ill Nicole thinks so - and After the Hole.

I expect the world would be dead due to nuclear war between the US & North Korea

I'm expecting it to be no better than last year. Or even worse. Climate change and nukes and stupidity has doomed us all. Remember when the world was supposed to end in 2012 because of the Mayan Calendar? The world didn't end then, and yet I feel extremely dead. :skull:

None as of yet, as long as this year turns out to be as amazing as half of the last one for me. And I'm pretty positive it will.

more bad stuff from the GOP. further cuts to social security and Medicare/Medicaid and the rest of the social safety net. wars and rumors of wars. more violent weather and fires/floods. more mass shootings. terrorist events on home soil.
