Great News!

My mom finally approved of getting a ball python. I am getting a male ball python. I am hoping to get him from a reputable reptile store in the same state I live in. His name is already picked out and I will be responsible for his food and everything. Seriously I have read so many things on how to clean his crate, how to feed, when to feed, when to seek medical attention for him, how often to clean the crate and how to handle him and pick him up. I will be getting some books for my birthday on ball pythons and how to take care of him.

Yay, that is great news! :D So, what will you name him?

Also, remember that he might need artificial UV light, like pet turtles do.

I am naming him Rochester. :D

Thanks for the recommendation. I was wondering about lighting.
