This is a traditional Anglo-Indian dish that I'm picking up from my local Indian takeaway in a few hours:

My Indian order is:

Chicken Tikka Masala
Bombay Potatoes
Pilau Rice

Just those things come to about £12 :(. Can't afford nan bread and am lucky if they give me a free popadom.

I can't believe there are no Indian takeaways in America; Sheldon and co used to order Indian takeaways all the time on The Big Bang Theory.

There are a lot of Indian restaurants here but I've never had the chance to eat in one. I wonder if I would like it? :chin:

Yeah , food prices are really on the increase , cheap takeaways curries are a thing of the past :( ( or just seemed cheaper a while ago ) .

It's awesome. Much better than Chinese food, which I also love.

It varies from place to place, too. I've had Indian takeaways all over the country, and found that the cheapest place to buy one is Birmingham, and the most expensive is Bristol, where I live. I had a few when I was living in Bury in Greater Manchester - super duper expensive.

Just got back from Birmingham on the train; great city.

My Chinese order is:

Prawn toast
Chicken fried rice
Bamboo shoots and water chestnuts
Curry sauce

I'm thinking of getting a Chinese now, instead. 8)

I always go to those cheap all-you-can-eat buffets. I love sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, general tso's chicken, orange chicken, boiled crawdaddies (crawfish), coconut shrimp, peach buns, and of course the fortune cookies. :D

The remains of my takeaway:

One of the pieces of chicken was slightly cold; hope I don't catch anything.
