Post a picture of an iconic vehicle from film or TV and a fact about it.

It doesn't have to be a car , it can be anything from a unicycle to a spaceship.

I'll start with the 1976 Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino sometimes referred to as the striped tomato

The 1958 Plymouth Fury a.k.a Christine

Christine made more money than any other actor in the film. 15% of the movie’s entire budget was spent just on the cars.

if it weren't for the movies, those things would have been remembered as a quirky footnote from the 80s, and rightfully so. meh all around, engineering-wise. drop an LS V8 in there and they are decently quick though. not that i've driven one....

i actually saw one parked across the street from my house one morning, last year. they are a lot smaller (and wider) than the screen leads you to believe.

BTTF wouldn't have worked as well without a DeLorean.

1969 Dodge Charger a.k.a The General Lee , the horn plays the first twelve notes of "Dixie"

Frankenstein's Alligator Car from Death Race 2000 - Shala-Vette

The Shala Vette sits on a Volkswagen Chassis, is powered by a flat-six air-cooled Corvair engine, and propelled through a three-speed manual transmission.
