1. I don't write in my books, although I do take notes.

2. I use a lot of post-its to colour code and flag ideas.

3. I'm a fast reader.

#3. It's not that you're incapable....it's that you have a "critical eye," and seek to understand every little detail and nuance.

You're right. I'm a relatively slow reader. I read each passage fairly quickly, but go over it several times to absorb the rhythm and cadence of the words, and to cross-reference with other books. Don't forget all the words translate into colours for me, as well. I also take a lot of breaks because it's hard for me to focus very long.

I assume you've called wildlife control?

I haven't yet. I'm not sure they could anything for me. I'm optimistic at the moment. Trap is still in place, a window is open, and he's been stirring about. Hopefully this will be over soon.

If it were me I'd want to lay many large rat traps. Even though I really like squirrels.

I like squirrels, too, although my affection for them has diminished over the past three days.
