No, 2 is my lie. He only speaks Spanish and English.

1) Once a lightning bolt hit a metre away from me.

2) Once I slept through a 4.4 earthquake.

3) Once I met Frank Bruno.

Number 3 for smudge, though I don't know who Frank Bruno is...

Frank Bruno is a British boxer of the 1980s and 1990s. He was the British champion. He lost to Mike Tyson at least once.

The lie is #2 for Smudge, I believe.

1) My father once tied me to a tree for four hours.

2) I crashed my father's car into a tree when I was four.

3) My father made me split four trees into firewood.

My father tied ME to a tree during a storm, but I've told that story too many times.

1. I miss my dog (temporarily)

You're right. My dog is at the groomer and I'd normally stay with him, but I had to come home.

Both wrong! My lie was #3. Splitting firewood was a favorite chore (stress relief), and I never split that much wood.

I begged to be tied to the tree so that I could escape like Harry Houdini. It took me four hours.

I did crash the car while playing in it. I managed to get it into neutral and it rolled down the driveway into the tree.

I wondered! That did seem like a lot of wood, but you didn't say you did them all at once (not even in the same year).

1. I have a large amount of laundry to wash.

2. I have to go get my doggy now.

3. I am a terrible nursemaid when people are ill.

Certainly #3 for Nurturing Isabella....

You're right, I'm a good nurse My lie was 3.

1) My son has a long-haired dog.

2) I am allergic to my son's dog.

3) My son's dog sleeps with me.

I really hope it's 2, but I sense it's 1.
