I used to feel the same and i don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with it. Of course it'd be better to have a job and a few friends but if it doesn't work out you shouldn't beat yourself over it.

I live a rather Aspie-friendly life. I work as a bus-cleaner, 5pm-10pm, 5 days a week. So I have all day to myself. I live with my boyfriend but he's working most days during the day. My job is a very laid-back job with no pressure. So I feel I haven't got to take too much part in the outside world, as my job doesn't feel like emotionally draining slog like most jobs are these days.
