Anyways I am out playing in the snow after all.
Pretty easy access from the top of forest park.
Lots of sledding going on.

People are asking if I broke my leg snowboarding.

I didn't. Those with me explained it was from corrective surgery.

Clearly you need to educate these people about your encounter with the Mountain Lion, and how much surgery it needed.

Too true. It will be in traction for weeks.

I managed to give myself a severe charley horse in my "good" leg while waking up. Hurts like hell.

How bad is it? Can you not put weight on it?

You said you had a "charley horse." That means it's usually not too serious, and that you can put weight on it.

I can't walk because of the cast. Idk if charley horse is the right term. It was a very bad cramp from a muscle spasm in my calf that feels like an injury after. I get them occasionally. I get leg therapy at home so it was worked out that way be as best as it could be.

Sorry about that, Ezra. I know it's a pain in the butt.

Is the snow melted where you are?

Not my butt, my leg :P

It's gone from the sidewalks. There's big piles of dirty snow at corners where it was all pushed. Still sticking to landscaping in patches. I'll be out for a spin later on.

Have been reading the lord of the rings. I've read parts here and there but finally started reading forward from the beginning. Not for the first time but first time in a while. Always comparing it to the movie version. Quite a bit of difference. So I'm reading that and playing lord of the rings online. But don't really consider myself a rings geek. Really probably why I'm reading it again is I can get the whole thing on my phone. Been a while since I watched any of the movies start to finish as well. The fellowship is just getting ready to set out on their mission.

Hearing flocks of geese. One of the first signs of spring.
