To start this thread off, we have this kitchen:
Just...the eyesore choice of colours...they don't go together at all, nothing in this photo is OK. 
Got any bad designs and/or paint jobs you've seen that you think are worth sharing because of how atrocious they are? Look no further than this thread.

That would be the perfect kitchen/dining room for someone who is morbidly obese.
If that color combo doesn't kill your appetite nothing will. Makes me wanna loose my dinner!

But it's not aesthetically bad, really, in my opinion.
As a design student, I spend a great deal of time on getting colour schemes exactly right for projects, so admittedly it might bother me more than most that the colours contrast so much. One time they asked the web design team for help setting up a small display exhibition, and what would've been a rather simple task ended up taking about an hour because designers do tend to be perfectionists.
The difficult part is that sometimes clients want horrible designs, so you have to compromise and make a terrible idea the best it could possibly be.

My parents remodeled their kitchen and gave it a Mediterranean theme a few years ago, with red and white colors. When they were applying the red paint I found it too bright, but then they darkened it and it wasn't so bad.

Yes, the colors are quite garish. Reminds me of the hack up job my one brother (who thinks he’s a master carpenter and home remodelers), did to Mom’s House, as well as his house.
Personally, strip away the paint and use a neutral polyurethane stain on the cabinets and doors. It would, IMNSHO, look a lot better.

I can't help but wonder if that was designed on purpose by someone who just plain hates Starbucks.
