Mine is true. One is a public service and one is an internationally acclaimed yacht club.

Kortie's is false. It was her bedroom.

Nope. It was my bedroom. I stroked her hair. One thing led to another....my mother was at work.

I didn’t know about the artists in my family until I was in my 30s.

I think you were older than 30's, perhaps 40s. False.

My first kiss was from Spin the Bottle. His name was either Sam or Carlos. Or Sam Carlos? I can't remember.

I knew about the relatives in my 30s. That they were artists when I was in my 40s.

False for Isabella.

My father made it to age 87. My grandfather only made it to 86.

Mine is actually true. I don't really remember the experience at all, and I barely knew the boy. We had to go into a dark closet to kiss for Spin the Bottle. I know his phone number still (lol -- autism), but I don't remember his face or who he was or even his name. Pretty sure Sam, but Carlos had something to do with it too. I was about 13 and it was nothing ultra special in terms of kissing.

True for korts.

Nope. It’s the reverse. My father was 86, my grandfather was 87.

My first kiss was under the baby swings when I was 9. The girl was from Israel.

Kortie's kiss: True. She was older though.

True or False: Today is the 170th anniversary of Emily Brontë's death from Tuberculosis, at age 30. (No googling).

She was actually 8.

I did almost kiss a distant relative when I was 10 and she was 14. They lived in Tenafly, NJ.

True for Emily.

I met my maternal grandfather.

No. Emily died on 19 December, 1848. So it was 170 years ago yesterday.

True but you were a baby.

My great grandmother's name was Priscilla, and I met her. We got along famously.

False. He died in 1946 from alcoholism.

I’ve only seen a couple of pictures of him.

It’s free to take the Staten Island Ferry.

I'll guess that it's free, but that's unusual.

It’s free.

It was 5 cents all through my childhood. But it went up to a quarter in the 1980s. They made it free in 1997.

The Staten Island Ferry allowed cars until 9/11.

I’m sensing that you didn’t get along with her that well.

My great grandmother's name was indeed Priscilla and I kind of worshipped her.
She was assertive and very worldly yet old-fashioned, all at once.

True or False: I'm going out of town for New Year's.
