I have, and the things on the first list are things I aim to reach before I turn 30 (I'll be 25 this year.)

- Find a better job. Ideally one that's more interesting and has a better pay, but if that's too much to ask then one of the two is something I can settle on as well.
- Get a relationship
- Buy my own place
- Visit Japan
- Write a book

And the next list, things I want to have done before I die:

- Get married
- Have kids
- Have a book I've written published

Okay, the second got cut short. So, what about everyone else?

My list is very similar:

Get a higher paying job
Visit Japan, Italy and Spain
Write a book about the life of Denis Istomin and get a cat story I wrote published
Helping others in some way, through the church, in Toastmasters or helping people with disabilities or counseling anyone who feels they are different in any way
Continue playing tennis, improving my skills and attending a tennis tournament (I would also accomplish my goal of meeting Denis Istomin-and Rafael Nadal, too)
One day, meet a nice man who accepts me and get married.
To keep my health so I can continue the active lifestyle I have had for the last five years
Get my struggling Toastmasters club back to health and earn my Distinguished Toastmaster award by 2020

Thank you, ferret for that literal interpretation for the purposes of humor.

I suppose I have a bucket list in a sense, but it's more along the lines of things I hope I do by the time normal people do them.

I don't like the term "bucket list," with its underlying theme of death. I call it a life list. However, the way things are going, I don't see any of my goals being achieved soon. It probably will come down to an end of life list.

I've never had anything like that and no desire to.
I have a simple rule... avoid doing things I don't want to do. I have a pain vs pleasure ratio... when something causes me 51% pain for only 49% pleasure I stop doing it... that includes friendships and relationships.
Unfortunately I can't extend the pain ratio to family relationships, however much I'd like to.

No. If I had to die tomorrow I would probably go on about my day as always. I've experienced more than most people I know and there are still many things I look forward to. But nothing I would be desperate to do before I die.

Not sure how may will understand, some might call this heaven, some hell.

Yes, my 2 favorites are the wooden one under the ice cream churn and the 5 galon one with the wire handle and tight-fitting lid.

I would like to one day have indoor cats again, but I'm not ready quite yet. My last cat passed away two years ago at the age of 15 and she was very sick the last six months of her life. For now, I just take care of feral and neighborhood cats.

I never heard this term until about a year ago. If I were going to die I'd do all the practical things first (checking over my Will, arranging finances, providing care for my dog, etc.), and then I'd just want to be with the people I love. Music would definitely factor in, for at least part of that.

I'd also write instructions about which edition of which book I'll take with me to the grave.

Otherwise, I do have one bucket list dream. I doubt it will ever happen, so I'm OK just wishing on a star. :star:

I never really had a bucket list. I've had some goals & things I wanted to do but they were things I wanted immediately instead of just things I wanted to do before I die. I struggled in skewl alot & my goal was to be done as soon as I was allowed/able to be. My parents refused to let me drop out but I had my mind made up that I wasn't going to college. I looked for a job after I graduated high-skewl. Not rite after but like a year later & I wanted to get the job then instead of taking a few years to find one like it did unfortunately. I also HATED being single & desperately wanted a girlfriend & was doing my best to try & find one. Some people told me I needed to focus on myself & I'd eventually get a girlfriend. The idea of one magically appearing out of thin air the moment I would decide to quit looking seemed highly illogical to me. I'm sure those people must of meant I'd find one eventually some time in the future which I did NOT have the patience for. I wanted a girl then NOT years from then.

Agreed. Heaven.
