Where Are Your Favourite Places?

I have a few favourite places. One is where there are a few houses near the sea, and the road to go to the houses is through the harbour, so if the tide is in, they have to drive the back route all the way around. Also there are little walk around footpaths with nice stone steps for when the tide is in and one can"t walk through the little shallow harbour area. If one carries on walking, one reaches a cliffside walk with coastal views which drops down to the occasional little bay below...

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Bolton, England.

I've been to Bolton. They have bins you can't put rubbish into.

A grove of trees on a high bluff west of my childhood home. It was quiet, cool in the summer, and had an idyllic view of farmland that went on for miles.

I have a lot of favorite places, mostly in the US. Even though, I have not been to the US ever in my entire life.
In Israel, I like visiting our famous and well-known Old City in Jerusalem, especially Dome of the Rock and the Western wall.
I like the Kineret, I like the Knesset(Israeli parliament), And I also like Eilat, the resort city in the desert.
I also enjoy going to the beaches in Tel aviv, I went there every week during this summer with my brother and sister.
There's also a very relaxing forest I know, on the way to Beer Sheva. You can see it on Google maps, write "Dodaim forest" and you can see pics of it there.
Based on pics I saw on Google Maps and street view, places like Oklahoma, Kansas, Dakota, Montana, and some small towns in Texas look interesting to me.

If I went to the USA, it is the mountains that I'd like to see.

I'm partial to blanket forts.

The village in which I grew up, Lincolnshire in England, the Peak District in England, the Lake District in England; Knightsbridge, Westminster, St. James, Hyde Park, The City, Mayfair, Shepherd's Bush, Piccadilly, and Chelsea all in London; Montmartre in Paris, Auvergne in France, Cote d'Azur in France, Barcelona in Spain, Oxford in England and Glencoe in Scotland.

Vienna in Austria, Rome in Italy, San Francisco in the USA, Brighton, Cambridge and Oxford in England; Edinburgh in Scotland, Bloomsbury, Kensington, Richmond and the South Bank in London.

The Latin Quarter in Paris, Temple Bar and Merrion Square in Dublin, the west coast of Ireland.

The Southeastern Appalachian Mountains, specifically the Smokies and the Blue Ridge. I'll move there in the next couple of years, and that's where I'll die.

Any place with more nature and less humans.
