It is so expensive to buy any in jewellry here.
I like the pieces that shine blue/green most

No hard feelings. I just need a thicker skin.
I am glad someone else likes gems and stones.
I want more to add to my collection :)

I was going to but I have no batteries in my auto digital and the charger for my nikon is packed away somewhere in one of many boxes piled up from when I moved. But tomorrow I shall get some batteries and photograph what I have :)

I have about 30 different stones/gems
I seem to collect Labradorite the most as I have 3 pieces...got another one the other day and it is stunning...shines green/blue when it hits the light one way and yellow/green another way
Second to that is moldavite and tigers eye.
I tend to like the more shiny ones.

What about you?

I have had my eye on the malachite at the local shop.
They have quite a few stones I haven't got yet including aquamarine.
I want some boji stones too.

My favourite rock has to be Blue John (also known as blue feldspar) - found only in and around Castleton, Derbyshire. It's one of the rarest minerals in England.
