Another pet peeve is that my wife doesn't like it when someone calls me Wolfman in the supermarket.

A wall of text with no separating blank line between paragraphs. I usually don't even attempt to read such an overwhelming wall of text.

When I'm listening to a song on WP but I click (.... anything in the site) and the song stops.

I usually keep multiple WP tabs open so I can listen to the music but I'm so ADHD, I invariably get mixed up and click new threads on the one playing music.

Is there a way to avoid this?

I can't check my PM, write a PM, or do anything when YouTube is playing.

If whatever you click on starts a new activity in the tab/window playing music then that will stop, to be replaced by whatever you clicked on. This is the normal functioning of a browser (although certain links will open in a new tab/window by default).

Using right-click > open in new tab resolves that and I regularly use it when playing YouTube music.
You can also use a right-click to open up your PMs in a new tab.

Thank you CF!

I'm so impatient / impulsive / ADHD I haven't been taking the extra 0.5 seconds to open songs in YouTube directly (clicking the title of the song), or right clicking like you describe. I was just clicking the middle of the video box.

Duh.

That will be a big help even though I'll lose several seconds per day! 8O

New Pet Peeve:

How on earth do I find the history of all my posts? I can do it, but it takes about ten steps and involves having to click my own name by opening a PM with my name on it. (This is if I don't see my name on the forum anywhere). If I didn't have any PM saved I have no idea how I'd find my name to click, and I'm sure there must be a faster way.

Try: search.php?search_id=egosearch
That shows every thread you've posted to, with the most recent at the top.

Or for a list showing each post you made, with the most recent at the top - click on your avatar on any post (or your name in a PM listing) and click "Search user’s posts" in the new content shown (it's just underneath the post count).
When you've done that once just bookmark the page showing the list, for future use.

Thank you again.

The link doesn't really help because I was looking for my actual posts instead of my threads. The second option is what I was looking for. The problem is that on the rare occasion when I can't find my name / avatar showing on the recent threads, I need to go into my PM to find my name. I was wondering what I'd do if I didn't have any PM saved. The alternative is I have to go to a music thread or Leap Frog and then scroll back to find myself.

It's not a big deal because I'm on here often enough that I can find my name fairly easily. I just thought there must be an easier way.

Question 3 from the "Random Things I've Always Wanted to Ask" files:

On my profile page I filled in "Biographical Info" but the info doesn't seem to show when clicking the profile.
I don't see it on anyone else's profile either, just Diagnosis (using the drop-down).
Is the Biographical Info meant to be displayed?

That's just another non-functional part of the forum software, I'm afraid... I don't think it's ever worked.

There is, once you've bookmarked the page listing your posts.

No problem!
That's what I thought, but then I get these feelings that I'm likely an idiot and missing the obvious.

8)

Bookmarked a page? I've never done that either. And I don't get notifications (don't want them). After I post something it's hella lost until I happen to stumble on the thread again. If I can't remember the thread title, I'm totally screwed (hence, looking for my post history).

I'm not as smart as I look. :D

Didn't imply anyone or mention any thread. It's just every now and again, some bonkers thread pops up that really probably should never have been posted in the heaven and probably better posted somewhere else. I just get hit by a titanic wall of cringe when it does happen.
