who here eats their sandwiches crust-first, in a circle, thereby saving the yummy middle for last, undiluted by plain crust?

Though it probably isn't the content you are looking for, I'll say that since bread is something I now need to eat in limited quantities there are no more loaves of sandwich bread brought home & the breads used on deli sandwiches purchased a few times a month are not shaped to allow eating all the crust first.

^^does that mean you eat a portion of the crust first, then dive into the yummy middle?

Never heard of that technique before. I'll have to give it a try.

if you're anything like me, you save the crusts to cook in soup. they make the soup richer.

I eat the crust first for that exact reason. I save the best bites for last.

Wouldn't the sandwich disintegrate and create a mess if you take the solid bits off? I do the "saving the best for last" with other things though. In a bag of lollies my favorite flavors will be the last ones to go. Something like that. With bread, maybe the crust is actually the best part.

Me cook? Hardly ever. I make sandwiches though. Sometimes I still cut the crust off and then eat it like bread sticks later on.

The closest I usually come to cooking is boiling spaghetti noodles in the microwave.

Always, unless I'm putting in extra effort to look normal. And as a kid I didn't do that because I had the crust cut off before eating.

That has never happened to me. Just what kind of bread do you have where you're from?

I like a good, crusty, whole-grain bread, so that I can peel off the crust (the best part) and save it for last.

With homemade bread the crust is the very best part, especially paired with good butter.

It is like home-made bread crusts are some kind of vegetarian "cracklin".

When I was little I would eat any sandwich, that wasn't cut in half, upside down. I didn't mind that bit of crust, I just hated the texture of the top because it was thinner and kind of leathery. Nowadays, I don't mind as much. If I don't actually finish a sandwich though, I will leave the part I don't want that includes the top crust.
