Here in the UK that would not be a problem. If you hadn't used it for a much longer period (like a year, maybe), the company might contact you to enquire if you still need the card, and might possibly not renew it if you fail to respond. But even that would be quite unlikely in my experience.

I didn't even know that you have to use your credit card regularly enough to keep it valid. I use it for my grocery shopping every week but I had better find out how long I can go without using it.

Yes, it's fine. But you should use it at least once or twice a year just to make sure they don't close the account. Even if you don't Need to use it because you have money in your account to pay directly, charge something to it and then instantly pay the bill just to keep the card active and good reports for on time payment flowing to the credit reporting agencies just in case you need to utilize credit for something else later and you need a good rating to get a good interest rate on a loan.
But it's totally fine not to use it for a month or 3 or whatever.
