Crypto.

Anything about it.

Dont get how 'blockchains' work. Makes Einstein's Theory of Relativity look like tic-tac-toe.

Dont get how it supposed to be good for society, nor how anyone but criminals could benefit from it.

How to disguise my bruised and swollen neck, so I don't look freshly strangled.

I was up quite high on a ladder to paint a spot on my ceiling.
The ladder flipped out from behind me.

As I fell forward my jugular bashed the sharp corner of my pine hutch.

Then I fell in an unceremonious hump of paint and twisted joints.
It's a compression / blunt force injury on my neck.

I felt my circulation cut off.
I consciously thought "So this is how I'ma die."
I couldn't get my breath for about 12 hours.

I don't recommend anyone try it at home.

Wanting, needing, having and knowing "your place".

That is pretty scary....not being able to breathe properly for 12 hours.

How are you feeling now? I hope you're able to rest, and get yourself checked over by a doctor, when possible.

(Hugs)

^ Ouch! Sounds awful, though I did wonder from your initial description if someone had attacked you! I don't think trees count as adversaries though. <Hugs>

The birch branches weren't up there when it happened. ^
It was the corner of the pine hutch.

It was weird because no one heard me or the ladder crash.
My dog just sat there near me, like nothing happened.
I kept calling "Ouch!", or at least I think I did.
My daughter was in the next room and didn't hear anything.
Turns out I couldn't speak for a while so maybe I imagined saying Ouch.

Church will be nice but we may need to drive instead of walking.
I need me some peace on Earth and goodwill to mankind.

Thanks folks.

^Goodwill to Mankind, and Peace on Earth?

Why the heck not?

I hope you do manage to walk….but if you drive, no harm done :)

It's minus 10 Celsius (14 F) and slippery.
I buggered up my back and knee too.

Maybe we'll park a little distance away.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Birthday, and Season's Greetings to all.

Don’t do anything that might permanently harm you.

That's impossible. ^
I'm permanently permanently harmed in one way or another.

I can’t help but think you’re a person who is strong and has many virtues that can at least partially offset what is “harmed.”

Isabella, I'm so sorry! I wish you a quick and full recovery.
