Many things that are spicy or sour really hurt my mouth. I get canker sores and other unpleasantness. So it's the sweet stuff for me.

I really like salty as well but I also really like sweet. Chocolate is great after eating fried food :mrgreen:

It's no wonder I'm very overweight but I am losing some this year due to cutting back on snacks partly cuz of cost & a med change is helping as well. I like spicy a bit but I hate sour.

Great mouth sensation is stuffing your mouth with Cheerios (honey nut, maybe with multigrain mixed in), and sipping orange juice, then immediately chew. The juice makes the crunch more intense. Almost effervescent, like pop rocks.

I like many foods flavored with cinnamon that are a little spicy and mostly sweet. Cinnamon rolls, gingerbread, apple pie, The Hot Lips candies they sell at Valentine's Day... they're more hot-tasting but they don't burn holes through my mouth.
