He kept covering his ears at the jubilee when the jets flew over.

That means he's autistic. Noise doesn't faze normal children even at 4.

Sensitivity to sound isn't exclusive to Autism, so based on that one symptom I'd have to say no.

I heard a news commentator suggest it when he didn't attend the funeral.
They hinted that he was a handful and he wouldn't be able to behave properly.

I thought that was pretty bizarre (and disrespectful, whether true or not.)
It's sad that he didn't go to his great-grandmother's funeral, and such an historic event.

If he's four he shouldn't be expected to act like George and Charlotte.
I'm sure he has a nanny who could keep him in line briefly.

I forgot he was even born to be honest.
I don't think I've ever seen a picture of him.

I think it would be interesting if he was, but clearly there's no proof of it.

I kind of think Charles might be.

Not that I know anything about any of them.

Phillip was socially inept and had no filter.

Yes… makes sense with Phillip.

if you meet one nt you met one nt

it isnt unusual for a small child to be sensitive to loud noise like jet engines

the older children probably know all the rules and boundaries so kept their hands by their sides but if they were not royal children and were at an air show or something they might have put their hands over their ears too

I still put my hands over my ears for loud sounds in public. ^

I even scream or curse sometimes if the sound is very sudden.

I'm autistic af, though. :P

The Revolutionary war muzzle loading cannons at Williamsburg hurt my ears as a child.

The entire cannon weighed less than the projectiles fired by a sixteen inch guns on the WWII Battleship Missouri.

So I cant even imagine the loudness of its guns.

I also think it's very sad that Louie didn't get to say good bye to his great grandma. That was very disrespectful.

I never went to my dad's funeral when he died last winter and nobody in my family seems to think it was a big deal that I didn't. I never went to my grandparent's funeral, either. I've never been to a funeral at all. I don't even know where their grave sites are.

A 4 year old is too young to really understand death or what a funeral is all about. It doesn't help that adult humans don't really understand death, either.

Edit: And is Joe90 being sarcastic? I know she really hates it when people ask if something that's totally "normal" is a sign of autism.

Well, half and half. Many people associate covering ears at sound with autism, and there was a discussion on Facebook about it.

Those fighter jets are extremely loud. I think little Louis was just being theatrical. Or perhaps he had a hangover.
