Our world truly is destined to be destroyed by madmen going through ego trips.
What will they have left after everything is burned and irradiated? A sense of pride or accomplishment? I will make sure I torture them personally while we both burn in Hell.

To me this is just a rerun of Kim Jong-Un's terrifying use of nuclear weapons threats. Putin knows the way things are going, that if the US and or NATO swooped in to join Ukraine, Russia would be quickly and soundly defeated. And if it weren't for his nuke threats, that would have already happened. Putin using a nuke in the territory war itself wouldn't make any sense, because whatever territory he nuked would become uninhabitable.

I hate the fact people think it's funny to say he's dead and get my hopes up only to be lying because he and many other human "leaders" need to die. But they won't. Most humans who deserve death live very long lives and never get truly punished for their actions.

"If you could lick my heart, it would poison you." I once read that a holocaust survivor who endured all kinds of horrors once said that. And that's how I feel.

^It sounded too good to be true. So I kinda suspected it was a put on.

If he was going to do it, he'd just do it just like that. The fact that he isn't just proves that he's only using threats to get attention.

Maybe send him back to preschool and give him a toy to play with, he can pretend it's Russia and can get all threaty if another child wants to play with the toy.

If Russia continues to lose ground in Ukraine I think there is a strong possibility that he will use a tactical nuclear weapon to try to undermine Ukraine's will to win. He may even hit Kiev hoping to kill Zelenskii and further weaken Ukrainian morale. If this happens NATO and the US will likely get into direct conflict with Russia attacking Russian troops in the Donbas and eastern Ukraine and ships in the black sea using conventional weapons, pretty much wiping out the Russian army. With his back to the wall, Putin will then be very unpredictable and may go for a full on nuclear attack on western countries and we will have WW3 and the apocalypse.

The world's best hope is that someone in Russia topples Putin before it is too late for everyone.
