I started my new job last week and it went better than expected. (I expected the very worst.) I'm on floor 19 with a good view of the city, although I sit some distance from the window. We have a nice big project that's moving forward so hopefully in a few years I'll be able to share it with the world.

It's often quite a good idea to expect the worst, then you won't be disappointed.

It sounds pretty exciting to be in that sort of office!

I actually had an enjoyable time doing some some shopping and then going to my mother's house for a Thanksgiving meal with Mom, my aunt and uncle, and my cousin.

We had roast turkey and vegetables, and homemade pumpkin cake for dessert. It was really good. :chef:

It's better than I expected.


I'm glad to hear it! If I go and visit my mum, she gets fed up with me and my family after a couple of hours. However much we walk on eggshells to avoid upsetting her. :roll:

I think it’s Canadian Thanksgiving, ours is in November.
