How much do you pay for your electricity, my bill for 1 month (Dec) was £400

Make me green with envy, sick as a pig or in the same boat as you with your answers.

I'm in the UK but anyone can answer.

I'm not sure what that is, exactly in dollar amount, but I'm guessing a little more than $400. If I am correct, I am so sorry.

My electric bill wasn't too bad this month all things considered. I hit about $250, which is high for me, but in all fairness, there was a cold bout there where the pipes froze in my basement...heater ran a lot for a bit during that last billing cycle. Last year I averaged about $190 a month. I'm figuring with cost increases; I'll be sitting pretty at about $200-$220 a month. I hope.

Despite having a big, old house, I have a really good heater. The thing is old, but it still outperforms newer models in efficiency. I have no idea how bad my bill will be when that thing finally hits a point where it can be repaired no more. I am not looking forward to that.

Mine was 140$ last month because I ran some space heaters because it got so darn cold and I was short on firewood.
It’s usually around $70 all electric house.100$ in hot summer months with AC but I only cool the living room.

Electric about $150 I think? I'd have to check. It's equal billing based on last year's consumption.

In addition I pay about $250 for natural gas and about $200 for water.

Maybe $600 total to have hot water, frigid air, and run appliances.

Zero for water here, on a private well.
Sadly I have sulfur water.It turns silver black.Smells like hell.
Internet and phone bundle around $50 I get a low income break.

We have well water at the lake.

Internet, landline and cable TV: About $280
It would be higher if I dropped the landline because I have a "bundle".
