Bed, Bath, and Beyond is closing all the store.

They were the Click movie for a universal remote.

Don't worry, in their place we'll see Bloodbath and Beyond, the 2nd Amendment Superstore.

I think the new store is to be called "Bloodbath & A Blonde" -- a combination firearms store and covert escort service.

That's the first thing I thought of. ^

I loved that movie. Bawled my eyes out.

BBB sucks - horrible customer service and their pairs of curtains are NEVER the same length.

Oh wait!

I just remembered I get my pillows there and can't find them anywhere else.

:(

I hope they go on sale because they cost a bleeding mint.

A couple of years ago the bed bath and beyond store near my house had the nerve to tell me not to return, because I wasted too much time in the litterbox (bathroom). But it had two toilets and nobody was on the other toilet.

Now the whole store is out of business so nobody can go to their litterbox

If it had been called Bed, Bath And Beyoncé they would still be in business.

Very Groovy Things at a Very High Price should have been their name.

Huh. I knew the one in my town was closing down...one of my daughters went to go check out their closing sale and said the discounted prices were still stupid high and not worth it. I just figured it was the one in my town shutting down and not all of them.

I bought some jersey sheets from there once. Then I went back to buy another because those sheets are freakin amazing. I think that's all I've ever gotten from the place.

Shame they're closing though. Not because I especially care for the store, rather because I wish more brick and mortar stores would thrive. I think there's something to be said for being able to actually see, feel, inspect what you're getting v/s ordering stuff online.

In the Adam Sandler movie Click, Adam's TV remote wasn't working or he lost it(it's been a long time since I seen it so don't remember) & he went to BB&B to buy one cuz it was late at night & they were open. The remote ended up controlling Adam's life.

Specialty stores tend to be more expensive but after a certain price point their high prices cost them to have too few customers to stay open, especially with online shopping these days. BB&B might woulda been better off if they closed their physical stores years ago & focused online & kept their prices somewhat reasonable.
