Somebody asked this on Reddit and didn't get an answer. So I can certainly understand admiring Magneto, however it seems there may be a specific political implication. Probably on the objectivism spectrum, but is it more than that?

Magneto has been everything from "stereotypical villain" to "elder statesman" in his time, but I tend to think of him as a no-holds-barred revolutionary.

I don't know much about Magneto except that he's some guy with magnetic powers in Marvel comics. But the way Americans have been twisting every single thing into something political in thew past two decades is aggravating and infuriating. No wonder the world is a mess.
