Okay; the Y has certain rules so they wouldn't let like 5 (maybe even more... but the more the merrier!) people stay in the same room... so I'll find an apartment. Don't worry about rent. Social Services will pay all of it. It will be small... like a one-room (bachelor) or one-bedroom apartment. You won't need permanent residence or a visa. Just come up on a "pleasure trip" if you don't live in the country; you can apply for permanent residence or immigration here if you need it.
Disregard this:

I think we should start a thread asking people if they want to share an apartment with us... or even a little room or a big room at the Y! Alberta is the BEST... great disability checks, I hear, if you want em! How about here in Edmonton? There are lots of people on this board in Edmonton besides... and we can all go to the West Edmonton Mall together! We will have to see if there are any takers! I KNOW there will be![/quote]
