Okay; the Y has certain rules so they wouldn't let like 5 (maybe even more... but the more the merrier!) people stay in the same room... so I'll find an apartment. Don't worry about rent. Social Services will pay all of it. It will be small... like a one-room (bachelor) or one-bedroom apartment. You won't need permanent residence or a visa. Just come up on a "pleasure trip" if you don't live in the country; you can apply for permanent residence or immigration here if you need it. :)

Disregard this:
[s]
I think we should start a thread asking people if they want to share an apartment with us... or even a little room or a big room at the Y! Alberta is the BEST... great disability checks, I hear, if you want em! How about here in Edmonton? There are lots of people on this board in Edmonton besides... and we can all go to the West Edmonton Mall together! We will have to see if there are any takers! I KNOW there will be!
Benefits of living in the YMCA with us in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada:

-rough mission 2 blocks away that we can go to together; it's safe if we all go together. 3 free meals a day every day.
-Social Services pays your rent if you're on it. And you can go on permanant disability too.
-if you live at the YMCA, there is:

1) TV room with big TV
2) computer room with 3 computers with free internet
3) free access to the pool
4) free access to the gym
5) free access to the (indoor) courts
6) on-site cafeteria
7) big mall with all necessities right across the street
8) completely free health care with no strings attached if you're on Social Services: optometrists, eyeglasses, prescription drugs, dental work, all health care.
9) the Light Rail Transit is free. Not officially, but everyone gets away with it.
10) laundry room on-site (coin-operated mind you)[/s]

I can't see that picture, this stupid browser won't let me!

I know a Terrance who is bipolar, also has social anxiety and OCD and lives at the Y. He's my Paxil-and-alcohol-mixing friend, a writer. He has long long light reddish-brown hair, he's a fairly big guy, part Metis, very attractive, great sense of humor, very nonjudgemental, parties and drinks and gets drunk a lot. :D

I would but the I'm not allowed to leave Oregon at the moment. Besides, Canada wouldn't want me.

In some ways I think it would be better for Ana to move down here, but there are so many things I like better about Canada at the same time I wish I lived up there instead.

I have a passport so it would by easier for me to move down there, but Canada seems somehow safer, true... WAAAAY lower crime rates and we're not as involved in the wars... lemme change the title of this thread to something more attractive that'll attract people. :D
