I was watching a baseball game on TV when I noticed my phone had an alert announcing that Trump was safe. Of course that sparked my curiosity as to what was he safe from. I changed the channel and found out.

I was messing about on the Web and saw something on the BBC news site about it, probably a day or so after it happened. I was relieved to read that his approval rating doesn't appear to have significantly increased, and disappointed that the spectator who was killed barely got mentioned - apparently Trump's slightly injured ear is much more important. I was reminded of the Aspie who tried to shoot him a few years ago. Don't see why the more recent event matters more than that.

So far Trump hasn't even expressed condolences, at least to the best of my knowledge.

Old fashioned cable TV for me.

Got bored with Steve Harvey, and Family Feud...switched to CNN, and there it was ..."Trump injured at rally" was the headline...saw the footage of him being stunned in mid sentence by what turned out to be the would be assassins bullet. Blood. Wow! Moments after it happened.

Yes he has and has expressed a desire to call the families. If you look there are a lot of stories about the audience members killed and injured.

I read about it on WP. As when any violence occurs, I certainly felt for those who were injured, killed, and otherwise impacted as well as their families, but beyond that, I was only mildly interested. I’m fully aware of its importance in terms of how it will affect the upcoming election. I just don’t have the energy to care that much, especially considering other things that are going on in the world that I can’t do anything about.

I live a few hours south of where it happened.

I was home arranging my bedroom and just like any other Saturday evening, I went to turn on the local news where I found out.

It ruined my ability at this point to even watch the local news. I am relying more on newspapers for my news sources. I have found out that other friends with similar anxiety do the same.

I was sitting at the toilet with my phone checking out Instagram when it turned up in my feed.
