If we are a 'nuclear' family then were are truly radioactive. With a half-life.

But the half-life of Polonium 210 is only 138.38 days. Will our nuclear family last no longer than this? (Can't we all a be a lanthanide or actinide instead? Aren't we all "rare earth", by constitution, if not definition?)

I'm already past my half-life. I wonder what that makes me...

Yes, a lanthanide or actinide would be more appropriate - one that glows in the dark.

Separate thought: I wanted to be in the "Chemical of the Month Club" (there is such a thing) but I think the prerequisiste is you must be a member of Al Qaida. It's sort of like the "Soap of the Month Club" but better.
