I think we should all just talk about what we want to talk about, as long as it makes sense, and reply to whatever threads we want to reply to, even if the thread are 3 years old... maybe you want to bring to people's attention, "Hey, I'm like this person too who posted this a long time ago!"

I really wouldn't care if they reset my post count; I'd still post a lot!

As long as they aren't duplicating threads/topics its impossible to make to many (assuming they make sense - you can only have so many "asdf ae;ioqew fas;dkjfas" topics before they lose the ability to entertain

I like it this way. It encourages discussion. Much better than all those forum-usurping, BS, "Post a random...", "What are you listening to", etc crap that people keep bumping with their daily entry that actually goes unread (people only go there to post, not read a 20+ page thread).

I agree. I like plenty of topics to choose from; sometimes I feel serious, other times, I just want to chill, so it all works out.
Who cares about post counts? The titles are interesting enough when the numbers change but seems irrelevant to me how many posts any member has - if they talk rubbish, no-one will read them anyway, doesn't matter how many times they post.

The more the better.

Without threads we wouldn't have a forum.
