What I meant by "it's an observation" is that I see a resemblance.

Around the eyes, a bit yeah. The jawline/mouth area not so much. You're not going to get a job as a David Cameron lookalike imo, you've just got a vague resemblance to him.

Whether it's an insult or not depends on the context, I'd say.

If they're going on about it repeatedly and it upsets you then yes, they're trying to wind you up. Take it as an insult.

If it's just a passing comment, then no.

I could do with losing some weight in the face and I do have nice hair but that I guess that's enough to make me handsome
