I am a total spaz, & I love Stitch!
This screen name was sort of given to me on another forum several years ago, it seemed to fit well with my personality, & now I use it everywhere.

My nickname comes from two places: 1.) my current special interest in Scorpio/Pluto astrology and 2.) I have 4 planets in Scorpio plus Pluto on the ascendant. Thus, my personality is ultra-enigmatic and difficult to understand, just like Pluto's place in astrology.

Mine's a song by Machinae Supremacy.

The fire it knows me
and I
can walk through the blaze without a mark

forever it owes me
the life
I lost in the dark

The higher it takes me
the more
I'm able to reach outside the walls
of our perception
and grab a piece for us all

Mine is pretty self-explanatory (though I should clarify that I am not an NT-type shopaholic, spending hours & hours in clothes shops!).

When I shop I usually know in advance exactly what I want & then make straight for it. In fact my shopping does not usually take very long but I can spend an awful lot at one time.

I buy things related to my interests, i.e. manga, Dr Who novels, Girls Gone By school stories & maths & science textbooks.

Oh, and the dreaded M&S jumpers (I would never have started collecting them if I'd known they would bring out so many colours - it will be up to 90 soon in the same style! Plus I have missed out on "dark orange" because they sold out!)

That sounds like me some of the time.

Tim

My last name comes from a clan descended from Banquo.

As for my screen name: My name is Tim and I am from Texas.

Although if I relocate 12 miles north of here, I would have to change it to Tim_OK.

Mine is because I just seem to make quick, unimportant appearances everywhere. I walk in, everyone knows me and says "Hey, it's Nic!" but I ultimately have little effect on the plot.

My (then) three-year old niece (now 15) gave me my nickname.
That, and I've got a few cats home, hence Katou.

There was already a thread on this but I forget where but what the heck.

I got likedcalico from when I was picking a msn nickname and I picked Calico because of my cat. I have a Calico cat. I loves Calicos and are my favorite kind of cats. But that name was already taken so it had four options and I didn't want numbers so I selected likedcalico. I'm bad with comon up with alias names so I didn't think to come up with LikeCalico or CalicoGirl. I could have also used Calico1985 because of my birth year but it didn't occur to me when I selected this username. I try to keep all my names the same so I used this name again when I registered here. I go by Calico now when I register on forums and likedcalico if Calico is already taken.

Mine is very self-explanatory.
I got it from people at school calling me "The Anonymous Dude."

mine is from my love of oxymorons, and my old facination with Ravens

for those of you that don't know, and oxymoron is a phrase or statement that contradicts itself (ravens are black)
