-The same meal every week.

-Pizza with Sloppy Joe sauce in place of spagetti or tomato sauce. Sloppy joe sauce on pizza bread couldn't have been any worse tasting for me.

-Cabbege that is boiled in broth for three hours, then boiled for another hour after being mixed with bolonga and/or salami, potato pealings, pinto beans, ect.

You know I never even heard of anyone boiling cabbage until I moved about two hours away into an area people largely with hungarian descendants. Here there are regular haluski sales, and all kinds of boiled cabbage is served in school cafeterias

NEVER put sloppy joe sauce on ANYTHING besides sloppy joes!
That is the only thing it should ever be used for.
It tastes like balls and ass on anything else.

Someone say haluski? I grew up on that stuff...cabbage rolls...etc. :D

Part hungarian myself...my grandmother used to make these jellied pigs feet (another ethnic dish)...now THAT was nasty. 8O

Properly done cabbege is great, but cooked for too long and I just can't stand it, because it smells so strong to me by then. Chick peas, pepperoni, chicken, blackbeans, and a couple of other beans I forgot with cabbege is great and I love it. In that recipee, it only needs 2-5 minutes, depending on the heat. I eat coleslaw and like it, ok? I think the time it takes to cook cabbege matters alot.
