But I didn't know.
Parties start late.
So I didn't show.

She came at 3.
When the party started.
She waited for me.
I am kinda ret*d.

I got there too late,
She was already gone.
She said it was fate.
and moved herself on.

You might be thinking, What's this sucky poem about? To which I would reply,

There was a 21st last night, and I thought it wouldn't get lively till after 9. So I took my sweet time getting there. Once I arrived my cousin told me he invited a girl I had my eye on. She wanted to see me, but after waiting for hours she had to leave, and she told him it must have been fate (not meant to be).

I. SUCK.

wow...now that is sad.

It's not that bad. Just unfortunate I reckon. That's life.

Now you know she is willing to go look, easy followup. Private is better than parties, you owe her one.

I'd say something snarky, but I don't think I will, just because I think that you made the best effort, but.....eh.

Who knows. sometimes, fate/karma/whatever you believe in has a nice way of coming back to you. Who knows. she might show up at some random spot for you to talk to her.
