"Evil is powerful, but courage is solid"

A tag line from MGS4. I really think it's such a good line.

I added a bunch of movies to my Netflix instant queue. Since it's going to rain a lot (more) and my mom is working late shifts, I have plenty of time to watch them. Among the movies in my queue:

Aimee and Jaguar
A Village Affair
I've Heard the Mermaids Singing
Plus movie adaptations of the novels Flowers in the Attic, Tilly Trotter, Middlemarch, North & South, Little Dorrit and Lady Chatterley

Will write reviews in the TV & movies section under the thread where people talk about movies they recently watched, as I always do.

My cat is asleep right in front of me, on the computer desk under the monitor.

I need some cymbals.

My cat will sleep on top of my sketchbook if I leave it on the bed. She likes to tear the bindings out with her teeth.

Apparently the "pineapple" of a huge cold front is going to pound us for the next 3-4 days. :/

Love you too, mother nature.

Could be worse.

*facepalm* He had it coming, didn't he?

We've had almost three inches in the last few days for total rainfall (and don't get me started about the Oregon coast).

I watch this movie, Powder, again for the first time in 15 years. I loved it as a kid. Now I realize that part of me realized I was weird before I realized I realized it.

As good as it gets, powder, kpax, groundhogs day, the wizard (this one especially), phenomenon (to a light extent). People you can relate to on a certain level...

Rain man was a crock...

And Joker, aren't you in the wrong forums for that?
