I have now developed a problem with joggers jogging on the road, especially when they're jogging in double and even triple file, and won't give courtesy to traffic.

I have no idea why anyone thought walkers and riders should have right of way on the road. Seriously.

It's like walking down a shooting range with people firing rounds right past you.

Get them off.

Cyclists are a bit of a grey area. I know the plight of both sides, believe me. This place is like, triathlete central so I have to deal with a lot of them.

But this, this is erring more towards black & white.

In their defense there are no footpaths along this particular road (just grass on either side), but further along there is a footpath AND a bike lane and they chose to jog in the bike lane making cyclists go onto the road to get around them. I even made a point of veering far left on the road in order to "encourage" them onto the grass but they didn't budge (I should make a point that they were jogging on the wrong side of the road too, so they definitely watched me hug the gutter as I approached). Ordinarily your pedestrian safety instincts would make you get out of the way, but I guess they're not there when you're deluded into thinking the road is yours.

Walkers and cyclists should have their own paths.

That way, everyone is happy.

www.legendsofamerica.com/we-saloons.html addresses saloon doors toward the end of page one.
There is also: petticoatsandpistols.com/2011/02/01/saloon-doors/

I have found a glove that I started knitting in January. Hopefully I'll finish it this year, and maybe the other one will be finished by next year.

It annoys me when people talk about things that have happened to them in their life as their "Journey".
