A few weeks ago, I posted in the Games thread that
my cousins wanted to see the movie Date Night.

Someone told me off that Date Night is meant to seen with a date.
That person was right. We never saw Date Night or a movie at all.

It's best if I come clean now and go into damage control,
before someone gets hurt emotionally and psychologically.

Twist: They're not my cousins.

Explanation: My "cousins" have known me since we met
about 18 months ago. { 1 1/2 years ago} I have known
my friends for this long, that I feel that they are my cousins.
So, I call them "cousins."

Twist 2: My "cousins", both of them, were held back one year.

Explanation: Both friends, one boy, and one girl, have a neurological disorder,
of which I do not want to talk about. BTW, both are 17, very mature,
but resemble someone at 14.

Enough said...

Spoke to someone I've always wanted to speak to. We got on really well as expected. It has been a marvelous day because of this.

I am entitled to a free piece of fruit, if my fellow SS members are entitled to free sweets, during Coffee Bar.

I'm currently playing HON, a dota clone. I was in the closed beta, but the beta was opened to all till the 12th when its going retail.

Although I don't recommend any not familiar with Dota even try it, steepest learning curve I've ever encountered in a game.

Doesn't taste too flash either (too sweet, not enough citrus tang) *checks she didn't buy mandarin juice by mistake*

What I would do is make my own orange juice, more citrus taste and best of all, its natural. :D
Only disadvantage is getting all the oranges.

as i was driving along today, i saw many trucks delivering goods to various places, and i thought of a silly idea that made me laugh.
i imagined that all goods were delivered using "box cannons", and that the goods were loaded into the cannons and fired at the address that they were to be delivered to.
i imagined that the ballistic trajectories were all accurate, and that there were almost no casualties using this method.
i imagined that rarely, some people may be killed due to inaccurate calibration of the cannons, and i imagined a radio news headline saying "three people killed by errant boxes fired from faulty box cannon in norway"
" two women and a child were killed earlier today after being struck by 12 boxes of frozen potato wedges that fell from the sky after a box cannon was incorrectly calibrated. a police spokesman said that the company concerned was being investigated ....etc"

it would be funny to see tens of thousands of boxes constantly flying through the air after being shot from various box cannons all around the city.
also the sound of all the cannons firing at rapidly random intervals was hilarious to me, and i know it is a stupid thought, but i entertain myself with stupid thoughts.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's economical. How much juice can I get from a kilogram of oranges anyway?

I'm going to deposit my paycheck and pick up a prescription. But first I'm going to take out the trash. I'm dizzy with anticipation.

i am so tired but i will write the words to a new song for a musical i thought of today.
i just sang it with idiotic abandon in traffic and i was very amused although it will paint me as a fool to everyone.
anyway here it is. it is a snippet from an idea about a very poor person.

hot food,
cold food.
any bloody old food.
hot food,
cold food,
any food'll do.

hot food,
cold food,
any bloody old food
any bloody f*ckin food'll do!

sorry that is my cheapest contribution so far to the site but there one goes.

i laughed hysterically at the onomatopeaic (?) sound of the last line.
it sounds like a version of "cockadoodledoo" which is what roosters say that i find very amusing.
