As a child I had a few, but commercial aeroplanes were a strong favourite of mine.

How will you be spending Christmas this year?

Just with the people that I live with, probably just cooking, baking, and watching TV.

Depends on the weather... Unlike last year, it's too humid to to predictively plan anything. :|

Same question. 8O

Staying home with my immediate family because many places will close early on New Year's Eve
and will remain closed on New Year's Day.

Same question.

We are carrying out our New Year's plans for both today and tomorrow.

What is a New Year's resolution you have never given up on?

I’ve never really made New Year’s resolutions. Any resolutions I make are dependent on when I feel like I need to make them, not what the calendar says. This year it coincidentally happens that I just stopped chemo a few weeks ago and feel recovered enough to really start trying to lose the weight I gained while on it, so I can say my New Year’s resolution is to improve my diet and exercise more in the hopes of losing weight.

Do you like video games? If so, what’s your favorite one?

I am not a gamer, so none.

If you like to read, what are your favorite genres of literature?

I do not read much fiction. But the genres I have enjoyed the most are :

  1. Hard Science Fiction,
  2. The Sherlock Holmes stories of sir Arthur Doyle,
  3. Fantasy (and more in specific Tolkien),
  4. Lovecracftian stories,
  5. Shakespeare (mostly because I like to act out certain parts)

Best and Worst book you have read in 2020.

Best: The Body - Bill Bryson
Worst: Say Yes to the Marquess - Tessa Dare (I really wanted to like this book, but their relationship was so toxic...)

Same question: best and worst book you read in 2020.

Best- Perdido Street Station- China Meiville
Possibly the best prose and worldbuilding of any book I've read (except for maybe its sequel, The Scar). I hated the ending but also admired its audacity. I chose it over The Scar because it left a bigger impression on me.
Worst- Of Shadow and Sea - Will Wight
Like Brandon Sanderson (who I like) but much worse in every way.
Same question.
