A huge car. The only type I can fit in.

What's a phrase you use a lot that you feel captures your personality?

Okay that probably wasn't the best question.

How about just your favorite phrase or expression?

Do you like New York City?

I've never been there but I'd like to go sometime. So I guess yes?

Do you have a favorite room in your house?

It would have to be my bedroom because that's where I spend most of my time. And it's cute.

Have you ever built (or helped build) anything from scratch?

I made a geodesic dome from coppiced hazel which I cut out of the woods here. I had to cut nearly 100 poles (2 different lengths) and then shave the ends until they were like blunt pencils. Then I made nodes out of some industrial pipe offcuts. Each one needed either 5 or 6 holes drilled in it to take the pole ends. It was about 10 feet in diameter. I made a cover for it out of tarpaulin, then I had an old military parachute that I covered it with for a while. I always wanted to make a proper, fitted canvas cover for it but I never got around to learning how to seam canvas properly. And I never had a sewing machine that was up to the job of sewing canvas.

I don't know what's classed as building from scratch. I've done quite a bit of building work when I was younger. I was an apprentice on a building site for a while but I was a naughty girl so I ended up getting dismissed plus to be honest those wheelbarrows full of wet cement were way too heavy for me being as I was about 6.5 stone at the time with absolutely zero muscle tone but I could build

Also I worked with a builder in the school holidays when I was still at school so I've helped out with things

I've done loads of flat pack if that counts

What would you change about your life right now?

Unrealistic change, I'd like to be a little taller, maybe by about four or so inches. Realistic change, a new hat.

Unrealistic - I'd like to be shorter.

Realistic - I'd like to have a social life consisting of friends in the same country as me.

I have very strong opinions on this. In the summer I'm fairly flexible but I can't sleep if it's over 24C (75F) and I obsessively check the weather forecast to decide whether the AC needs to be on. (I'm extremely sensitive to heat and also have sensory issues with being sweaty) In the winter I'd prefer to keep it at 16C (61F) but since I live with other people I can compromise up to 19C (66F). Any warmer and I can't wear my winter clothes inside, so I have to change every time I go in and out. Except in public buildings I can't do that, and the buildings at my college are like a sauna in the winter, so I often just end up wearing shorts in the winter since cold doesn't bother me very much. I don't understand how people can live in that kind of heat.

Do you have any unusual food combinations you enjoy?
