I wrote one to a boy named Kelly when I was 13.
My mother found it and lectured me that what we write can outlive us.
Verbal words can be forgotten or denied, but writing lasts forever and can't be refuted.
I suppose archaeologists might find my letter to Kelly.

I never forgot it.

I'm not a good love letter writer but I do my best with song lyrics and poetry.

Have you received love letters?

Yes.

Same question.

I once wrote a coded love letter to a friend I liked. It was superficially just a letter and could be read as such but contained several coded messages that I doubt the recipient even noticed were there, let alone deciphered. I used things like random capitalisations and first-letter codes. I think I had it in my mind that the messages would be perceived on some subconscious level, even if they weren't read. It didn't work.

I wrote it on paper that was made from banana skins.

No, I've never received a love letter. Unless it also had hidden codes in it that I didn't notice.

How often do you think about past loves, requited or otherwise?

Yes.
The best were from the guy I met at night on a sailboat on my 17th birthday.
He took his bicycle, found a flower shop, and brought me a rose with a love note tucked in.
Every time I saw him he gave me one more rose (two on second date, three on third etc.)
He wrote epic love letters from his sailboat called Spirit.
Eventually he couldn't carry or afford any more roses.

I got some good ones from a man who turned out to be bad news.
They smelled like his cologne and strangely it didn't give a headache.
I kept them for years.

Oh to be young again.

When was your last crush?

That just made my day. ^

I always think about love.
It's this elusive thing in my life.
I always love what I can't have, or have what I can't keep.

Well, years back possibly here on Wrong Planet, but that's all I'm saying.

When was the last time you asked, comprehensive questions?

What sort of questions, need more comprehensive details. And by when, do you mean a specific date or a generalised date or a specific date and time. ;-)

When I ordered my outside door, which involved getting lots of quotes.

I’m currently undoored and waiting because mine fell off.

Same q

Does this mean questions that aid my comprehension of something?

If yes, the answer is just then

But I ask questions to aid my comprehension all the time. My job involves me learning complex subjects rapidly, like technology, finance, government, and then distilling them into an easy to understand format. I have to ask questions because most of the time I have no idea what I'm talking about!

Do you like learning new things?

Yes, but only interesting things. I'm not interested in boring things.

Do you like tart/acidic/sour food/drinks?

^ hi!
I'm certainly guilty of liking sour foods, I find it quite refreshing, eating slices of lemon with a sprinkle of salt, for example.

Question: what is your favourite time of day and why?

Between 11 pm and midnight. Late at night with fewer people awake. Great for watching shows or going on the computer, with a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Same question

Midnight to 3 am works for me.
I seem to get a boost of creativity, and it's very quiet if I go for a walk.

Do you dread social commitments?

I get anxiety about them until the commitment has relinquished. So I guess, in a way, yes.

Do I actively dread new commitments arising? No.

I don't dread social commitments, but I don't tend to look forward to them.

Same Q

I've never wanted to go to any social event in my life.
I can't say I've enjoyed very many either (if any).

If it could stay one month forever which month would you pick?
