I love being in rain (just not barefoot, and not if there are visible monsters on the ground).

Have you watched Midnight Mass?

No, I do not often watch horror movies/shows. I especially cannot watch them during times of stress. The imagery gets stuck in my head and I cannot remove it.

Are you hypersensitive to graphic/violent imagery?

I am hypersensitive to it, yet that doesn't mean I don't subject myself to it sometimes. 8O

Does seeing blood make you feel queasy?

I'm triggered by psychological terror / psychopathic people in film. I can't watch that at all.

I can watch ghosts and supernatural horror, or cheesy horror like Friday the 13th because it's not believable to me.

I can't watch Silence of the Lambs, Get Out, or films like that. Get Out was horrifying to me and I had to shut it off.

I'm managing with Midnight Mass because I don't understand the religious references, so it doesn't work on my mind the way some other psychological terror can do. I'm grateful I didn't grow up with religious abuse in order to relate.

Graphic / violent imagery is usually so fake looking (special effects) that it doesn't bother me, but if it's real or realistic then no I can't deal with it at all.

Blood - no it doesn't bother me in normal circumstances.

same question

Even thinking about blood makes me feel like I'm going to pass out. I want to donate blood but I don't think I could handle sitting there long enough to do so.

Have you donated blood before, or do you want to donate blood?

I cannot donate blood due to chronic health issues. :(

What is your favorite activity for relieving stress?

I like colouring, and stimming to calm down by rocking/swaying.

What's your favourite genre of music?

Progressive rock (and folk, and punk).

Have you ever flipped a big heavy glass-topped table over to fix the legs, and allowed the big heavy sheet of glass to fall off and almost amputate your bare toes?

:x

OOPS (Call the medics!)

No, but I've almost broken glass tables before and it's absolutely f*****g terrifying every time. I hope you're okay.

Have you ever had a concussion?

Only a slight one. A very excited 90lb puppy ran full force and head-butted me (by accident).

Same question.

I've had multiple concussions. I'm clumsy + make questionable choices during my meltdowns. lmao

Have you ever had a seizure?

My toes seem to be attached so it's all good.

I don't think I've been concussed but I've had two strokes.
I think I've had small seizures too but they weren't diagnosed.

same question

My mom said that when I was around 1 I had a seizure in the car, and then never had another seizure, which is odd. I do get flicker vertigo very easily and have been worried about having seizures from that.

Have you ever suffered from hypotonia/hypertonia (I know those things are common in people with ASD/other comorbids)?

^^I don't think so. I have migraines with aura, however, and these conditions are very similar in the way they disrupt brain activity.

^Yes. I have muscle hypertonicity (particularly in my neck) and chronic muscle spasms.

What are your biggest peeves?

I find people incessantly talking to be really annoying.

City leaders not doing anything to combat the ongoing homeless situation,
gun violence and their own incompetency. :x

"They are problems of the people of Portland, not us!" :x

Same question.
