Do any of you here like Radio Jingles I had a look on the Internet and found a website with a load of Radio Jingles all from BBC Radio 1 (UK) it had the very first one from 1967 write up to what they play now.

This has become a "special interest" for me in recent months, as part of my general fascination with radio. Mostly I'm into classic jingles from the 60s through the early 90s, along with some newer ones that effectively capture that classic sound. I don't care for today's "contemporary" jingles with their screeching wannabe pop singers.

For me, the best jingles of all time are from JAM Creative Productions, and its predecessor PAMS Productions. One of these days I'm gonna shell out the bucks for a "personal cut" or two. In the meantime, I've been chatting with my fellow jingle geeks on jinglemad.com.

I subscribe to satellite radio so I never have to hear them. It's worth every penny.

I like the radio jingles from the 60s. Petula Clark did a good one, for Coke. Unfortunately, I can't find it.

Some satellite stations do play them though. I love hearing the classic jingles on XM's "60s on 6" channel.

Yeah, you're obvoiusly not listening to the right channels. I heard a good one on Sirius the other day. Nice spoof of the Brady Bunch theme...to open Barry "Greg Brady" Williams's show on their '70s channel. Wonder who that Shadoe Stevens-sounding guy is who does all the bumpers.

I remember a jingle that was sung in a round so my two friends and I liked to sing it.

First voice repeating over and over:
I'm a lonely pimple as lonely as can be

Second voice:
Don't cry, pimple. I'll keep you company.

Third voice:
Say fellow pimples, would three be a crowd?

All together:
All together, pimples, sing real loud!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

What a great song!
