I've found it to be the case on forums I post on. I probably have an Asperbergers "posting style." Let's see if it's the case here.

I just have difficulty letting the discussion end, if I'm interested.

I stab threads in the back with a butterfly knife.

When I don't kill the thread, at least I make it much slower

I call that "Rain On Their Parade" where you throw the proverbial jar of piss on a thread.

I kill a lot of threads, because people don't know how to respond to my words.

My initial assault clearly disoriented the OP, as evidenced by the garbled nature of the beginning of his response. That's when I went in for the killing blow. God may work in mysterious ways but there is no mystery here: the thread is dead.

How about some more thread killer achievements?

Serial Thread Killer - Accumulate 1000 total thread kills.

William Tell Overkill - Kill a thread so thoroughly that it is shut down and pinned to the top of the forum.

If I got a dollar for every thread that I killed, I would be rich. $$

The White Whale - Successfully kill the Threadkillers thread.

Just kidding, this is fun.

Dropped Dead - Kill a popular thread with a single post.

Be Efficient - Kill three threads in a row, each with a single post.

I've killed tons of threads because I describe too much (I think?)

and here's my rant for the day after killing a few threads this week:

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE KILLING THREADS!
