Same here, I like to add syrup, which would make a messy cone.

I tend to go for milkshakes more than either cone or cup. But if I'm getting it from an ice cream shop I choose cone, or waffle bowl, because I like the taste. And I'm pretty good at keeping it neat and not dripping all over the place.

I like cones because you can't eat the cup, or you shouldn't anyway.

It depends.

If I want syrup, sprinkes, nuts, &c. on it then I much prefer a bowl or cup. If I just want ice cream by itself then a waffle cone preferably, if not available then a sugar cone. Those flat bottomed cones bought at food shops taste like cardboard to me.

Milkshakes are good, but I prefer a good chocolate malt!

Cup, because I don't like the taste of cone.

Depends on the cone, danish cones are okay, but italien cones are like cardboard.

In Denmark we usually don't even get a choice, they just give us a cone.

Cone...I won't eat ice cream when it melts and it's soupy in a bowl. Yuck.

Weird...I know...I'd rather suffer brain freeze then eat melted ice cream...it tastes gross to me.

I can go either way.

If I get a pint of ice cream, I eat it right out of the carton.

I prefer the cone. Unlike a cup, I can eat that when I'm done with the ice cream!

depends on the type of cone. If its wafflecone, hand it over. flatbottom cones.....well those are just like a cone shaped communion wafer, or like someone posted earlier..."Tastes like cardboard."

sometimes though you gotta go with a concrete. We have a frozen custard shop called 'Rusty's' on my block. Their best seller is frozen custard blended and mixed with different candies, cookies, and other toppings. Its served in a cup with a spoon. Hold it upside down and it doesnt move. My favorite is chocolate and roasted, salted almonds.

or pretzel cones.....mmmmm.
