Glad to see you back. Here's an idea, at least put the country you're from in your profile, so we can see it. It may well be that someone from there can give you some ideas, something to help you out. This is what we're really here for, ideas on how to make life a bit easier. We all share something in common here and an awful lot of your Aspie sisters here have been through just exactly what you are. And they are here and they know. Sometimes it helps just to vent a little and we're here for that too.

There are a lot of really nice people that are from the UK that come here and they should be getting up about now..opps, you know that already  or maybe you've been up for a while, oh never mind, you know and I don't.

Lots to read here, other sections to get to know people and find out about yourself, what we have in common and what we don't. Places to ask specific questions or just have some fun.

You already do something I don't. You go outside on the street and that to me takes courage. That you have your baby takes courage. And you never have to say anything here just to please people, you can say what you want or don't want, it's none of our business. I think you're going to do just fine. See the thing is, I may just learn a thing or two to help myself from you. It works that way.

And I still want to see baby pictures, when you get some. 8)

I'm glad to hear that you have family support, puppylove - I was worried when you told us about people "hating" you because of your motherhood that you had been rejected by your own parents or something. Children do take a lot of work, after all - very difficult (although not impossible) for just one person. I've got two of them myself, although I was pretty old before the first one was born. :)

Yay! Baby pictures! Always like those - babies are easier to get along with than adults, I think; they don't try it interpret signals you're not sending, and their primary signals are cooing (happy, comfy) and crying (hungry, tired, wet nappy). So much less trouble to talk to! :)

Some people may have a bug up their a** because you are a young mother. I don't. Neither do any of the posters to your thread but one. You are among friends here. :D

Maybe you can PM me, and than we can talk about your precious one, with a little more privacy, if you wish. I love babies, no matter who old, or young their parents are. :O)

What kind of life could a 16 year old possibly give a child, without having to rely on her parents that she has already taken so much from? Why not wait until you can actually provide for the child?

She didn't ask whether she should have a baby at 16. She's got one. If you are concerned about the kid's welfare, the one practical thing you can do now is support the mother.

You sound cool to me, puppylove. I think your daughter's lucky to have you for a parent. It's rough having a baby and not having friends. Sometimes it seems like you can't get a break and nobody's on your side. Hope you decide to stick around.

I got facts too. My mom had a master's degree and she was thirty five when I was born. Pretty much every night she was drunk as that guy in the picture. On top of that, she was a feminist, so me and my brother had to grow up hearing about how terrible men were.

Nobody better try telling me that age and education makes somebody a better parent.

You've got everything you need to be the best parent in the history of the world. It's all there inside you. A lot of people don't understand that, and when you hear bad things so often, you sometimes wonder if maybe they're right.

They're wrong. They don't know what they're talking about.

By all means, post your baby pictures for everybody else, but I won't be able to look at them. Seeing babies tears me apart inside. Me and my babies got torn out of each other's lives.

It's a pity that you have to end up in such a serious situation so early.
But on the other hand, what is done is done, you have a baby and now the entire purpose of your life is to make sure that your baby will get the best possible upbringing in this f****d up world.
Make sure you have some kind of moral code that you follow for your life laid out and ready, and then make sure to instill it firmly but lovingly into your child.
I hope the father will be there to help you with this. If not, he's trash.
In short, don't let your baby grow up to be trash. We have well enough of that already.

You sound like babycakes221 making a new account. I'm certain of this, too.
