Alex, if you're ever in the Portland area,
I would like to meet you in-person!

I would say "How in the world do you keep such a huge website up and running?!"

Even with a lot of help I could never keep up with it. 8O

I think I'd stick with a simple "thanks for the website, man. It's been a real help for me" :)

I'd give him a huge hug and a kiss and say "Hi sweetie snooker oh my i think you're the cutest ever you're my favorite please marry me!" and pretend I was meeting him for the first time ever and then look around to see who I fooled. And then I would be proud of my silly joke but Alex would be embarrassed and probably pretend that he didn't know me!

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I'd say 'Hi', thank him for the website, and offer to buy him a cup of coffee.

Oh, but I did meet him.

At an autism (Or was it aspergers?) conference. Up around Kingston. Don't ask why I was there.

I was the girl in black with blonde hair who asked Katie a couple of questions about art and asked Alex privately if the forums were safe. I hadn't joined at that point. I was probably drawing through most of the conference.

I probably am not remembered, but I wondered when I would have the chance to bring that up on WrongPlanet.

"er...hi...sooo...yeah..." i may eventually start asking him various questions about the website and his opinion on drunken chipmunks, llamas, mangos, and queen.

I'd thank him for not banning me during my more bipolar moments. And then I'd ask him what the truth is behind...oh never mind - now my paranoia is cropping up.

I think there's a phrase of getting too caught up in the moment of delivery, in this case it is failure to conceive.
