Just wondering, do all of the states in the US and Canada or elsewhere (insert your own region) have daylight saving? or do some opt out?

Not all Australian states have it. Personally I hate it.

You hate not having savings time?

I have daylight savings time and I live in Oregon but I heard Arizona doesn't have it.

I have heard that some cities in the US do not observe it. I have also heard that the state of Arizona does not either...just what I've heard. Not sure if it is true.

I meant that I hate daylight saving.

It's mostly the hot states here that opt out.

Daylight Savings Time is the stupidest thing ever and I really wish it would be done away with.

It does not really bother me that much. I never know what time it is anyway.

Same here. I could care less what time it is.

Daylights savings time doesn't bother me. Gives me an extra hour to stay up late. But when moving an hour back, I hate it because it means I have to go to bed an hour early but if it's on my day off, who cares, I don't mind it then because I can sleep in.

I think it's a rip-off, you don't gain or lose anything by the end of the year as the second counteracts the first... Always a good excuse to be late for work 8) autistic or not

Haha I did that one time in 2006 but it was an accident. I forgot to set my clock an hour forward, so I let myself sleep in till it was time to get up for work when few minutes before it was time to get up, I realized it was after 11 and I was going to be late. My shift started at 10:30 AM on Sundays. It happened to be Sunday that day and it was April Fools day. So I rushed out of bed, slipped on my work uniform and grabbed my purse and rushed out the door because that's ho0w much of a hurry I was in. I skipped breakfast, and skipped brushing my teeth.

My boss said I was way late and I thought in my head "Only by 20 minutes." I thought she considered that way late but for me I don't. Late in the day I look at the schedule and see I was supposed to come in at 10AM. My boss had changed my hours on Sunday and I didn't even know it. I did not even look at the hour carefully because I had assumed it would be 10:30 again like it has been for the past few months. I knew after that to check my schedule every week and to look at the hours too. Never assume. I am off every Monday and Tuesday but I still look at the schedule every Friday because I know never assume what my days off are going to be because sometimes the boss changes your days off because someone else request a day off. I even look at the hours too.
