Still a little green... Yuck. I like mine completely yellow, but not to the point where they get brown spots (or at least not many of them).

Oh well, each to their own. I know other people who like bananas I'd consider totally overripe, and others who like green ones!

I had a friend throw away a banana because it had brown spots o_O I dug it out, ate it, and told him that meant it was ripe. He always eats them green, fresh from the store @_@

This is ripe:

I know the brown spots don't look too appetizing, but the banana itself won't start getting mushy until they're about like this:

Those ones are good for cooking ;) Banana bread, ice cream, etc...

Personally i think they taste a little stale after turning
brown, like the water in them has gone a little bad.
I like`em yellow :D

I love bananas too. I think they're the best tasting most dependable fruit and perhaps the most accessible. I always know what I'm going to get with a banana, unlike peaches and apples and plums and cantaloupe, etc. which may look and feel ripe on the outside, but when you bite into them may actually have rot or still be too unripe in the center or may just not taste right. Also there's no need to wash them or pit them, just peel and enjoy.

And I like them anywhere from a little green on them to browning. They're just good!

I wont touch a banana unless it has freckles. Green ones make blisters on the roof of my mouth. I go through periods where i will crave them and crave them. and eat them and eat them.

Yeah, the last time I had over-ripe bananas I made banana bread. Tasty.

Sliced bananas on Rice Krispie cereal. One of my all time favorite breakfast meals.

As long as they are not green. Actually, I prefer them when they gradually start to get a bit brown...
