How often do you feel hunger?


I often don't notice that I want food before I start eating, and then I just have to have a little bit more.. and a little bit more.. and just a tiny little bit more..

I was quite stunned yesterday when I realized I had gone 56 hours of not eating a thing, and still didn't feel like having some food.

But, right now I feel like my tummy needs something..But I don't have anything to eat. Just sugar, and I hate that crunchy thing!! I often mix the feeling in my guts with being sick.. it's confusing to don't know what my own body wants at times..

I feel it often, but often i also dont notice
in a way until an hour later if i`m working.
I just get this feel thats somethings wrong,
continue to work and then it hits me "oh, i`m
hungry as i dont know what." I get hungry and
have to eat around every 2-3 hours on average
from i wake up and until 19:00 - 20:00. Some
times i wake up because my stomack is growling
at me 8O sounds like a wounded tiger and omg
how hungry i am. My metabolism have always
been skyrocketing, if i dont eat well, i can and
usually do loose several kilos of bodyweight in
only 1-3 days 8O it can be very annoying and
stressful since i dont eat well when i feel down
sometimes and see myself get thinner so fast.
One big pluss is that when i train, which i do- i have
to to stay in ok shape or else i get too thin, i get
down to almost no bodyfat at all pretty fast if i
want to.

so lucky, wish my metabolism was like that, i love sweets, and that would help me lose weight :)

It can and will most probably change for you,
mine didnt use to be this way, i was off writing
"always been this way" something changed in a
huuge way when i was 17-18, and when i was 0-4 i
was wider then i was tall - i was really big there
for a while. I have also had periods when my
metabolism have seemed to slow down- but after
some hard body workout, it seemed to turn back
on again, hard.

bah.. I hate sugary things.. and sweets.. and I can't eat chocolate.. and still I am at a standstill with my weight.. Been trying to get rid of some kilos for ages now..

Jogging 4-5 times a week and low fat-low carbs food.. Seems I'm only getting fatter by the hour..

If you are going to go without food for 56 hours your body will go into survival mode, your metabolism will slow right down and will try and put on as much fat as it can.

Thats true, no food can have another effect
then what you want- eat what your body need
and enough of it - its bad for your heart also
to go long without food, it gets worn faster.

I regularly eat 3-4 meals a day + the fruits and vegs.. but haven't been feeling well the last 3 days.. And I almost never eat when I'm alone. Haven't been around much people lately..

Think being happy plays into it also maybe -
i have much better food habbits when i`m
with someone or not alone so much, Have
kinda bad habbits these days, dont feel
happy so often and food is a little "meh.."
that doesn`t help much, i just eat to eat,
i dont enjoy it very much.

I see my self as relatively healthy.. This is my 5th month without any snack or candy at all, not that I ate much of it before.. I've never really liked the taste of sugar or that fake fruit-taste.

In august I started the thing with having at least 3 meals a day, and I still stick to that, and I have tried to reduce the amount of food to keep my calories on the low side. As for now I get served the meals every day, but most days it's things I dislike or it's just too much people and noise around me, so I just leave. And then I tend to overeat at the next meal. And that brings my mood and self esteem way down low again..

You sound very health/body aware,
thats a good thing, sad you feel bad.
Know what you mean about too much,
have it the same way, in fact i have
pretty much left everything by now. Its
just hard to handle all the sounds and
impressions some times, get so tired so
fast.

Another thing, when i feel bad i dont eat
enough. When i dont eat enough i feel
bad fast, my head wont work properly.
So then i dont eat enough and feel bad...
i see a pattern here and i dont like what
i see

I normally eat twice a day.

I prefer to eat larger amounts less frequently, rather than "nibble" all the time.
