I have a 'nervous tick' that I do when i'm excited, which entailes me flexing my forearms and I stop breathing and squint my eyes, moving my fingers and clicking my nails infront of my eyes.. I don't know why I do it, and when someone else does it, I have to do it until I "get it out".

I get jerks in something between my neck and left shoulder
now and then, feels very much like electricity, like if
you touch some wires and get a shock and it contracts,
pulling my shoulder up against my neck. It started
many years ago when i was around 16-17 so by
now its just something thats there, but it is painful

I've got full blown Tourettes so I get tics almost all the time. They are REALLY annoying... Especially the vocal ones which make me shout weird things or make stupid dog/howling noises.

Mine are more vocal stims than tics. I am pretty sure I could control myself if I wanted to..

I say dopey-doh...doh doh doh...buskadoh...nonsense phrases repeatedly...

..me?
Not so often, just random now and
then, sometimes more often then
other. - it was really irritating the
first months but now its just there.
And i think it has gotten a little
better

sounds like everyone that has tics have tics above their torso, interesting!
