I want to try horseback riding. Really bad. But then I read this article: Horseback Riding As Therapy for Children and Teens with Asperger's

I know it sounds stupid, but i'm afraid I'll lose my aspieness if I do this.

Has anyone else tried Horseback riding? did you find it beneficial?

You definitely will not lose your Aspie traits. I know a lot of people who have had that kind of therapy but all it did for them was given them a hobby where they were successful and they felt comfortable in their own skin. It's not about trying to take away your Aspie traits but to give you something that makes you feel good about yourself and an environment that relaxes you. :) I say go for it!
