I think just about everyone who's gotten bored of Ramen has tried that... ¬_¬ I've done it a few times, but the flavor never really sticks to the noodles that way...so I'll usually just take the time to cook it, then drain it and add the seasoning.

I also like macaroni noodles, Miracle Whip, cubed Spam, and shredded cheese mixed together (may or may not have onion, I can't recall)...top it with your preferred seasoning salt.

I make fresh, buttery mashed potatoes, mix in wedges of hardboiled egg, and then sprinkle cheese on top, with a little puddle of blue cheese dressing on the edge of the bowl for dipping purposes. I am not kidding.

This is a heart attack in a bowl.
